This print is based on travelling with my girlfriend - now wife - in Tasmania in the late 1990s. I loved how the landscape made us both feel so small within it. The sense of power of nature still sticks with me today. A slightly eerie feeling at times. I remember we stayed in Launceston where there was a black out. We managed to find a bar open, lit only by candle light which we then proceeded to work our way through their cellar! Happy and hazy times! I had to leave when we got back to Sydney as I had a job starting back in the UK.
